COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENT / SOFTWARE ENGINEER
I'm Jayden, a Computer Science student at the University of Kent with 5+ years of experience developing software, game systems, and technology, and a competitive track and field athlete.
I'm a developer who enjoys working where logic, creativity, and engineering meet.
For more than five years, I've been building Roblox systems, primarily focused on backend development and game infrastructure. My work has ranged from dialogue and character systems to anti-cheat architecture, administrative frameworks, data systems, and competitive gameplay technology.
Outside of Roblox, I've been expanding into Python and web development. One of my personal projects, Jexey Pacing, explores the intersection of software and Track & Field by turning an athlete's personal best into estimated race splits and pacing information.
A selection of systems, applications, and technical projects I've worked on across Roblox, web development, Python, and Track & Field.
Studying Computer Science while continuing independent software development and expanding into broader areas of software engineering, programming, and full-stack development.
Designed and developed systems for private owners, closed communities, personal projects, and live experiences. Primarily focused on backend architecture, gameplay systems, data persistence, and infrastructure.
Built race-management and competition systems used within Track & Field league environments, including timing, relay, athlete data, and record tracking systems.
Designing modular systems with clear architecture, reliable data flow, and maintainability in mind.
Five-plus years developing gameplay, backend, security, data, and community systems.
Building web experiences while continuing to develop my full-stack application skills.
Creating software around competitive sport, performance analysis, race management, and athlete data.
Break the problem down before touching the implementation.
Think about architecture, data flow, edge cases, and how the system will grow.
Turn the design into clean, modular, maintainable software.
Test it, break it, improve it, and make it better than the first version.
HAVE A PROJECT IN MIND?
I'm always interested in interesting projects, collaborations, and opportunities to learn something new.
